Domain Name Technical FAQs

How can I update a domain name that I have registered?
To change the name servers, or make other changes to the domain name, you will need to go back to the same registrar where you registered your domain name. You can find links to the registrars sites in our directory. Once you are on their web site, look at their navigation options for a "Login" or "Domain Manager" link where you can access their "control panel" pages.
How can I find out which registrar I used when I registered my domain name?
If you aren't sure which registrar you used, you can use our Domain Name Query to find out which registrar (ICANN or CORE) your domain name is registered through. Click on the name of the registrar to display the directory page showing the links to their web site.
